    • Represents hospitals and healthcare systems.

  2. American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

    • Represents health information management and coding professionals.

  3. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

    • Oversees Medicare and Medicaid programs.

    • Responsible for reimbursement-related coding policy.

  4. National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS)

    • Maintains and updates ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes.
